Epilepsy
is a condition of repeated seizures,
which are uncontrolled, excessive electric discharge by the
neurons of the
brain. In some cases, the seizure originates in a localized
brain area, called a focus. The seizure may be limited to
this focus area, or may spread outward to other brain areas.
