It’s
not just a movement disorder. Besides causing tremors
and other motion-related symptoms, Parkinson’s
disease affects memory, learning, and behavior.
One of the best ways to learn what
scientists know about human memory is to get involved as a volunteer
research subject. Scientists who study memory are always looking
for new participants. This includes people with specific kinds
of memory impairments as well as people whose memory is "normal"
for their age group.
